Frequently Asked Questions:

Got a question? We are always happy to answer your questions, but look here to see if the question may be answered already.

Q. What items are not allowed at the Heartland Music Festival?

A. Coolers, pets, glass bottles, oversized tents/canopies are not allowed in the festival. This is for the protection and enjoyment of all in attendance.

Q. Are we allowed to bring in audio/video equipment?

A. Unfortunately, no. Due to the high caliber artists that the Heartland Music Festival draws, we must require that no one bring in recording equipment of any kind. This protects the artists and we know that without them, we would not be able to enjoy this music, like we do.

Q. Will the event happen rain or shine?

A. Yes, unless the weather is life-threatening, we will continue with the event. Who said a little rain with good music is a bad thing?

Q. How does my group or band become a part of this exciting event?

A. If you would like to be considered for performance at the Heartland Music Festival, please send information to:

The Heartland Music Festival, PO Box 871, Clemmons, NC 27012

Q. Can I bring my own instrument to jam?

A. While we are not officially organizing a time or place for jam sessions, we encourage you to bring your instrument. It's a great way to meet new people and new musicians. Who knows, your band could get their first start in a jam session at the Heartland Music Festival!

Q. Are motorcycles allowed at this event?

A. Motorcycles are not permitted to enter or travel through Tanglewood Park, however, motorcycles are allowed to access the parking lots for events held at the Amphitheater only.  All motorcycles are routed into the east parking lot located directly behind the Front Gatehouse.  On the event day, parking personnel will direct those traveling by motorcycle into this lot to access parking areas.  Motorcycles pay the same $3.00 parking fee as all other vehicles.
